IKUS Welcome Days
We recommend that you come to the Welcome Days for international students (the program is published on the IKUS website) and to the general orientation days for first-year students at the faculties and institutes: information and schedule can be found here.
You can also contact our Intercultural Students (IKUS) directly via ikus@ovgu.de or on their website as well as the Buddy Program of the student council international@stura-md.de. “Buddies” are volunteers who want to help you get started by showing you around the city, university and culture. Both IKUS and the Buddy Program will support you during your first weeks in Magdeburg. We also recommend that you download the Welcome to OVGU app.
